This is my review for the vanity stool that I just purchased from Wayfair. It came quickly and I had it put together in just a short time. All parts matched together perfectly so there was no trouble on that front. The stool is a sharp true white which is good for me as so often things sold as white are actually shades of cream and my cabinets are shiny white. The seat is also white and is covered in a faux leather so reasonably comfortable. The legs are wood and have a nice, curved design to them which helps as otherwise the stool is very plain. It seems to be sturdy, and the directions say it can hold 300 pounds. I’m a bit skeptical on that point as the stool is quite small. I can’t imagine a larger person sitting on it comfortably. It is low to the ground, which works for me as it fits easily under my vanity and as that is its primary use it makes sense. It will be easy to clean, and I like the fact that the seat is not fabric which can get dirty quickly. I think the price is ok for this stool so there is no negative on that point. My new favorite ottoman and vanity stool in one. It arrived quickly in a small box because the legs were in the ottoman. It comes wrapped in plastic as one of my photos shows, which kept the ivory colored fur clean. The faux fur is close enough to the real thing that Oscar took over assembly, curled up on the seat of the vanity stool, and slept there most of that day! When I finally got to finish assembling my new vanity stool, it took me only about 15 minutes. I agree with my boys--the faux fur is soft, and the seat is well padded and very comfy. I am using this as a vanity stool, and the extra storage space is fantastic. Now I have a place to store my hair dryer and flat iron, plus hair spray, brushes, and a makeup bag. Previously, the hair accessories were on the floor, and my makeup had spread over the entire top of the vanity. With this storage space, it is easy to straighten up my dressing room. At first, I was hesitant to sit down on the stool because the metal legs are thin, and the whole piece seems too delicate for daily use as a seat. But the stool is sturdy, and it is fine holding me.
