Great little shelf for the bedside in a guest room, with a style that will go traditional, farmhouse, rustic or arts and craft looks. It's a taupe color with some roughing in the edges. It cost 11 for return shipping, I had to bring it to FedEx, I brought it in the original shipping box but because it was damaged (which is how I received it), they said I had to pay another 17 to have it put in a new box. This shelf looks beautiful, but installation was more difficult than expected. It was challenging to align and level the two wood pieces during assembly. I also don’t feel the base is sturdy enough to handle the pressure of a traditional pump hand soap dispenser. To avoid putting stress on it, I switched to an electric soap dispenser. I additionally secured the shelf with an extra screw underneath to prevent movement. While it may not be ideal for this specific purpose, it does look very nice once installed.. Lizandra. New Jersey.
