The nightstand is a small one (see picture with bed for size), but it's got enough space for a small lamp, glass for water, earplugs, phone, etc. Assemble was straightforward and easy, though tedious (there's a crazy amount of connectors). My main complaint is the off-gassing; these smell terrible and continue to put out a smell after several weeks. We're still airing out the room.
