As I get older, it becomes necessary to watch out for chairs having seats too soft, and too low to get out easily. I also need a chair that has a high back because my spine needs support. This chair meets all requirements. The seat is firm, yet still feels good. We (and the dog) sat in it for 30 days and it never softened nor sagged. The back of the chair is also comfortable. This chair is sporting some very deep tufting on the dark leather. Take a look at the turned legs. They added castors on the front legs and jute to the outside back. Pure Aniline top-grade cow leather. Avoid direct exposure to sunlight/heat some color variation is common and acceptable on vintage leather.
