My family ribs me endlessly over my precious sink! It was shipped in the Arc of the Covenant. We had to use an engine hoist outfitted with a support bar to move the piece into position. It came with brackets and parts to hang on the wall, but at 400 pounds, the wall would have had to have been designed with this in mind. Instead, I did a Frankenstein bit to a thrift store oak kitchen table. We built a box out from the wall for plumbing access. Still working on getting the correct pipes and equipment, but I will have my sink eventually! Note for those looking: PLAN! It's ridiculously heavy, but oh so pretty. So hard to find a built in backsplash. I like that it just has a lip and not the full front, lots of those models. When countertop material is expensive this saves needing to buy several feet of material for the little strip of counter in front and back of the sink. It is too expensive, but this saves a little.
