The canopy bed is beautiful and was easy to assemble. The instructions included are accurate and easy to follow. I only knocked a star off because the top and bottom "F" pieces did not screw in on the left side of the bed because the screw holes didn't align properly. I even tried turning them around, flipping them upside down and swapping the places of the 2 bars, to no avail. But I just left the bars slotted into the brackets and I think it will be ok..they are just not secured with screws on that side of the bed. We took a leap of faith ordering this bed, not fully sure it would work, but it turned out to be a good match with our existing side tables and dresser. The metal isn’t super thick, but it is sturdy enough and the price point reflects this. Assembly was easy, two of us put it together without any trouble, thanks to straightforward instructions. This bed is very cute, but earns a four for the way it goes together. Not the sturdiest design on the center join where two frame pieces meet in the middle. It's adequate, but could be designed better. The design side of the footboard should face toward the room and not to the interior of the bed. The three holes were pre-drilled on the non-decorative side so if you flip it, there are only two holes and not a space for the peg that serves as a place-holder while joining the footboard to the rail so it is more difficult to assemble.
