This standard panel bed gives your bedroom or guest room a touch of traditional style. Its open frame is crafted from wrought iron with a cherry and bronze finish. The gracefully arched head and footboard showcase scrolling floral designs that mimic the look of vintage garden gates. Fluted posts, complete with ball finials, round out the look of this bed with an extra layer of traditional charm. Plus, with 8.6" of clearance underneath, this bed leaves extra space for storage bins, spare linens, and more. A box spring is required.

I was able to put the bed together myself. The hardest part was attaching the side panels. It was much easier to attach to the headboard to the side panels (I just laid the headboard down flat and put the side rails perpendicular and put in the screws, however then to hold all that and attach to the footboard was a little struggle. I used some of the packaging material to set up a lift. I think the look is very western, Victorian and rustic. Just the look I was going for, and I really like how my quilt is visible at the end of the bed and not covered up by the footboard. Thank you Wayfair for a simple bed!!. Tina. Amarillo, TX. Me and my husband put the bed together and we got it done in about an hour. Once together we realized that we needed a little more support for our foam mattress because the metal slats were not wide and had to much space between them to give good support. Constructed from steel, it features a slatted headboard and footboard that introduce an airy, open profile to your arrangement. Because the system includes its own steel slats, your mattress rests directly on the base to simplify your setup. Plus, it features an adjustable headboard height so you can easily customize the clearance to suit your specific mattress thickness.

The bed frame is simple but quite pretty and sturdy. The low profile footboard doesn’t cut into a small room - helps to keep it open. And there are two height choices. The taller choice allows for a nice space underneath for storage. The only thing I worry about is the plastic spacers that keep the crossbars for the platform in place. If a person needed to take the bed apart for any reason, I would worry that those spacers would wear out.. Michele. Harlingen, TX. Fri May 15 2026
