Just because it’s not crystal clear in the description: This table has a working mechanism that can drop it to chair height and raise it to high-top with locking hand-bolts. This table is exactly what we were looking for. We love that the extra leaf folds into the table for storage. It took us approximately four hours to put together, and we have put together a lot of flat pack furniture. Everything fit as described and the instructions had very good illustrations, so if you follow them you should have no problems with assembly. All the assembly parts were well labeled and packaged. This table is lovely. It is a bit confusing to put together because the instructions are poorly done. The handle is different from the picture but I don’t mind that. The lock nut mechanism underneath is also different but better I think. Use the picture to see how the bolts are put in because on the directions they’re not correct.
