Putting it together was simple to understand but not all of the pieces were aligned and it took some work. This could have been due to unevenness of the ground? Smaller than what I was expecting, even with reviewing dimensions. Overall I am happy with my purchase. We will be staking this down to ensure it does not blow over in a heavy storm and plan on removing 1 side of slates to plant a climbing rose in ground (they are not removable. This is a Beautiful garden entrance arbor. I am in the process of putting it together so the picture doesn’t show the finished gate. It arrived with some broken pieces so I knocked off a star for broken pieces. It’s soft wood and I’m not sure how long it will last in the Texas elements but it’s very pretty and the color matches my fence. It’s a little wobbly so I’m going to dig it into the ground for it to be more sturdy. I’m using it to create a divide from my ugly side yard and I’ll be planting grapes over the arbor and I think it will look very pretty. This fence is aesthetically pleasing and serves the purpose of keeping my dog out of the flower bed. The metal rods that make up the fence could be slightly thicker to increase longevity. These panels interlock with a metal ring through which each panel is staked. One of the metal rings was on the wrong side of the panel requiring it to be installed backwards. Not a big deal, but the spears on the fence are metal stamped and hollow on the backside. It is still a great product and I purchase additional sections to use in other locations in the garden.. I bought three of these and easy to put together after the first one...just requires some patience with the rods. Directions are minimal so you have to look at the picture and work it out. Screws to hold rods in have to be hammered then screwed in by hand into the metal and you think its wrong because there isnt an explanation. Note hold the rod in place or you will find as you put pressure on to screw the tiny nail in it twists on you! However, after I worked out the issues they really do look good and its so very hard to find this height gate at this price point...so worth the frustration putting it together!. Nicola. AZ.
