Very easy to assemble. You will need a helper to attach the arch to the posts. Only one minor issue. Where the bottom hinge attaches to the rail, two adjacent screws conflicted with one another. Remedied by using one shorter screw. Absolutely love this gated arbor and highly recommend it.. Roland. Honesdale, PA. Sun Sep 13 2026

Beautiful gate! I’m still installing it. It’s missing a screw for the latch, so that’s a trip to the hardware store. The posts in the ground are very short so I will need to pour cement for it to be stable. Good price for a Plow and Hearth product. FYI-Their items usually need protective coats against rust.. Putting it together was simple to understand but not all of the pieces were aligned and it took some work. This could have been due to unevenness of the ground? Smaller than what I was expecting, even with reviewing dimensions. Overall I am happy with my purchase. We will be staking this down to ensure it does not blow over in a heavy storm and plan on removing 1 side of slates to plant a climbing rose in ground (they are not removable. They need to be cut out mechanically). The doors on the columns are really nice and it would be easy to put decor or pots in the column.. Courtney. Wyandotte, MI. Fri Oct 09 2020

This Montebello Arbor is a great statement for any outdoor space or garden. Crafted from iron, the sturdy design features scrollwork details and a powder-coated gunmetal finish for a sleek look. The outdoor-safe arbor is rust-proof and weather-resistant.

Spent the afternoon putting the arch together yesterday. Very ornate and sturdy. I dont think it would stand up to wind and whatnot without being anchored with that being said Im going to Anchor it to our metal pipe fence gate. It takes two people to put it together and Im thinking it takes a third person to stand it all up. But I cant wait till the Roses Grow large enough to cover the trellis!. David. US. Thu Sep 03 2026

Our gate is fully forged, which is thicker and heavier than most iron gates on the market. This garden gate is fully submerged in galvanizing compound and then powder coated to be rust free and last for generations even in the dampest environment. This gate also comes with a bolt hinge for quick lock and mounting posts for easy installation. This gate is a great combination of strength and affordable price!

It is really pretty. Wasn’t hard to assemble. Unfortunately the latch situation others have described in their reviews are true. The latch must have been put on backwards because the gate will NOT stay shut. Any little breeze will open it. I’ll have to figure out a latch that will match it and actually keep it closed. It’s also not very stable so I put small square blocks inside each post to keep it in place. I like it but am disappointed.. Loui. NV. Mon Mar 25 2024

Remember that childhood neighbor, the one who spoiled you with home-baked treats and stories equally as sweet? Well, she was back, charming as ever, immortalized in Mrs. Powers Garden Gate. Surrounded by blooming flowers, swooping curlicues, and bells, this grand dame of the garden perches on a sunflower swing, sprightly as the spring chicken she had always been at heart.

Love it! Shipped fast. Arrived intact Easy to put together... though it probably helped that there were two of us. Is going to work beautifully for our design plan... were going to plant flanking bougainvilleas to grow up the arch. Then a canary island date palm in the back of the pad. This is our meditative swing lot for relaxing, reading, or practicing pranayama! I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND!. Melinda. NV. Fri Sep 18 2026
