This is a very cute pillow cover. I like the idea of pillow covers so you can change them out as needed or as the seasons, change. The covers are so much easier to store than actual pillows. I really like this pillow, but it does not look good in my family room because the background has too much of a yellow tinge and I need more of a white background. I will have to send it back.. Marly is a linen velvet, woven in four chains on complex looms featuring a lush, all-over foliage design. The light relief effect is created by the different methods of treating the velvet: cut and uncut. The fabric is particularly suitable for upholstery. This velvet is inspired by the tapestry "verdure" of the period and named after Louis XIV’s preferred castle located near Paris. The landscape architect for Château de Marly had created paths through the woods lined by trellis in order to contain the exuberance of the robust trees that filled the grounds. Pulling inspiration from these wonderful woods and tapestries of the time, the colony created the beloved Marly design. Marly is in a coordinating linen blend fabric and is offered in sophisticated, two-earth tone colorways.
