The 5 stars are for the excellent customer service that Wayfair provides. The storage bench is not as well made as I would expect it to be (perhaps 3.5 to 4 stars) since it does look nice just material used is cheap. The first one I received had a broken leg, the top thin plastic cover that protects the cushion was ripped which left a small stain and the hinge was broken on the left side. I attached a picture of the leg. Upon contacting Wayfair customer service they promptly took care of it. The replacement I received is in perfect shape. My recommendation to the manufacturer would be to put additional packaging around the legs to keep them from breaking and to use a stronger plastic wrap to protect the top cushion. What is currently used seems to be saran wrap.. Teresa. Belmont, MA. Sat Jul 02 2016

Take this one for example: Crafted from solid mahogany wood, this piece features four turned legs that offer a traditional touch to your arrangement. BAbsolutely love this bench! The craftsmanship is beautiful and it looks even better in person. The woven seat and dark wood give it such an elegant, timeless look, and it fits perfectly in my entryway. It feels sturdy and high quality, and the lower shelf is great for storing shoes or baskets. Assembly was straightforward, and the finished piece looks much more expensive than it is. I’ve already received several compliments from guests. Highly recommend if you want a functional piece that also adds warmth and character to your home.. Anonymous. Wed May 20 2026

Let’s return this bench. Obviously this has been opened and rummaged around in. There are dirty spots all over it as well as loose stitching. And two numerous threads hanging for me to photo. I did not opt to order an open box item but this is what I got. If it had been clean, I would return it anyway, because of the poor quality of the fabric workings but the fact that it’s soiled and looks used already took the cake.. Carol. Rancho Mirage, CA. Bring warmth and functionality to your entryway with this solid wood shoe storage bench. Crafted from durable pine wood with a sturdy A-frame design, it features a timeless two-tone finish that blends rustic wood grain with modern black accents. The spacious 47” seat comfortably fits two adults, while the open shelves below provide easy access to everyday footwear and help keep your space neat and organized. Perfect for entryways, bedrooms, or hallways, this versatile bench combines practical storage with classic style.

I really like the design of this bench. The dark wood finish with the black legs gives it a clean, modern, minimalistic look, and it looks even better in person. It also has a nice amount of weight to it, which makes it feel solid and sturdy rather than light or cheap. The lower shelf gives you some useful extra storage while still keeping the design simple. Assembly took me around 30 minutes and was pretty straightforward. The instructions are simple to understand, but I definitely recommend paying very close attention to the screw lengths. There are two different sizes, and while the manual does show which ones to use, it is very easy to overlook if you are moving too quickly. I made that mistake myself and accidentally used the longer screws on the main top section. They went all the way through the wood and created visible spots on the top surface. That was completely my mistake, so I am not blaming the product for it, but I do wish the instructions had included a more noticeable warning about the different screw lengths because one small mistake can affect the appearance of an otherwise beautiful piece of furniture. Aside from that mistake, I am very happy with it. It feels sturdy, looks great, and the simple design makes it easy to use in an entryway, bedroom, hallway, or anywhere you need some extra seating and storage. Just take your time during assembly and double check the screws before tightening everything.. Nestor. Westmoreland City, PA. Fri Sep 04 2026

Nice looking product, however, some of the legs don’t fully touch the ground when put together.. Kate. Lubbock, TX. Thu Aug 06 2026
