This is a very solid bench. I use it in my kitchen. It was super easy to build. There was like four pieces to put together. I built it by myself. I love this storage bench. The wood laminate is very convincing and well finished. The curved edge is very clean and modern. I just wish there was a way to adhere or strap the pillowpad onto the top to secure it, I am worried the kids will slip right off if they sit on it. But it is perfect for me. There were a few minor dents and scratches and I was missing a couple of screws so that wasnt great but the hardware for the doors is so nice. This is a great sturdy bench and shoe storage area for an entrance of a house. It was very easy to put together, except the directions were not clear enough on the final four screws that connect the top to the sides, I accidentally pushed it too tight and they pressed through the top of the bench.
