The tool, if there was one, to put the stools together wasn’t in the box and the directions were not as well. But they were fairly easy to assemble once I got on a roll. The color is definitely more almondcream, which is what I was looking for. The design is very pleasing to the eye. I’m very short (5ft) and the height of these chairs are perfect for me. We ordered 8 of these in light green, and I LOVE the color. It’s very pretty!! We have the chairs in our dining room, and they get used fairly often, and are holding up well after three years. Some paint has chipped in one or two places- not a deal breaker. We are pretty careful users. The assembly was like any other chairs back when my husband did it.
