These curtain tie backs have a distressed look to them. They would go well in a rustic, farmhouse or beachy vibe room. I did not do the traditional installation. My husband doesn’t like wall anchors, so I made use of the door frame and installed them vertically. They still work well this way and I know they are secure. Very nice quality curtain hold backs. They are metal, well made, and sturdy. The knobs on the end are LARGE (not in a bad way). The only issue I have is with the end piece that lays on the wall.
