This is a very nice-looking table. I like the dark color of the wood, I like the shelf underneath, and I like the rounded edges. The wood top is very smooth, too. Unfortunately, there is a little scratch right on the top that is noticeable. This didnt take more than about twenty minutes to put together. If there is something I would change, there are screws right on the legs where the lower shelf attaches. Those screws dont have any covers, and they are in spots on the legs that are clearly visible, so I just stare at flaws. And, this is just an aside I really dont understand why companies put labeling stickers in places where they could be problematic if they dont come off easily. There was a labeling sticker right on the top of this table. It did come off easily and didnt happen to cause a problem, but it was needlessly placed on the wrong side.. Lisa Burdick. Ilion, NY. It’s okay, all cuttings are different just wish I had more surface coverage for a coffee table. But it’s natural and gorgeous. The screws given were low quality and I acutally ended up leaving a screw in because it got stripped quickly and there wasn’t anything I could do to get it out so I broke the top off. Two of the screws I put in got stripped quickly as I was fighting for my life to get them inserted. The holes that are pre-drilled weren’t done well and I had to drill more myself so the screws wouldn’t strip more considering the quality of them. I like the table. The contours are nice and the wood-looking finish is great. Assembly is simple and took about 20 minutes because I’ve built many furniture pieces. The directions are poor. It’s not clear that bolt (A) should be fastened first to leg (2) before applying hardware to brace (3). When fastening leg (2) to tabletop (1), very slender fingers (or patience) is needed to secure the hardware without cross threading the bolt. No hardware is indicated in the drawing to secure brace (3) to tabletop (1). All of these are easy fixes by clarifying assembly instructions. More bizarre are caps (D) which absolutely should match the unit instead of being white in color. The white caps really stick out and greatly take away from the nice look of the table.
