The chest looks nice. The quality is good. However, the drawers only pull out about half way. Very weird. I thought about returning it but I can make it work. I read the reviews about the drawer problem but still ordered it because I liked it (I don't always trust the reviews). Also, in the product description the drawer dimensions are not listed. Value Overall a nice dresser for the price if you can catch it on sale. I also took the additional 10 discount for keeping the item with the drawer box damages. (I tried to get new boxes but they said it had to be completely returned, and I didnt want to deal with the hassle.) 2 of the 6 had some damage or weren’t well built, but for the price, it’s a chance I was willing to take because I love the visual. The drawers have to be pressed completely shut, but that doesn’t bother me since I read the reviews and expected that. Visually I would call it more of a mahogany look. The hardware is not cheap gold which I appreciate. Theres a little brass discoloration if you look closely, but no one would notice. I also chose not to put the feet on it so it could be lower for my son’s room. (The exposed corner technically doesn’t match the wood grain, but I’ll get some touch up pen to take care of that.). I like the style and color. Solid wood was out of my budget, so I went with this and it looks good. I will probably switch out the knobs for something more traditional since the ones it comes with are too modern looking. The box was heavy. Had to open downstairs and carry pieces up two flights of steps. Everything arrived without damage. Assembly took a few hours and my hands were in bad shape after using just a screwdriver. The antique brass handle is a really nice color, it looks more expensive than it is. I think that the length above the two holes is much bigger than I hoped.
