We created this quality shag area rug to complement the retro to the most basic of tastes. These microfiber shag rugs are affordable and soft, and they resist pilling more than traditional polyester fabric. Best paired with a non-slip rug pad (not included).

Be aware this is a hand knotted RUG so perhaps made on a loom. It is not jute backed carpet. Its construction is reminiscent of the old time rag rugs. It’s much softer, pliable than a carpet. It will slip if put in a wood floor without some sort of liner or strategically placed furniture to hold it in place. The pile is long and shaggy. The color is soft, antique blue.
