Vintage Blue Area Rug

Ready to stand up to high foot traffic in the entryway and take on occasional spills under the kitchen table, polypropylene rugs are ideal anchors for any mess-prone area of your abode. Take this one for example: made in Turkey, it is power-loomed from that must-have material with a low pile height and Persian-inspired pattern in blue. To keep this piece safely in place, we recommend using a rug pad.

We’ve had this rug in our family room for a year now and it still looks like new! It’s in a high- traffic room in our home and we have three kids and a dog. We needed something that would hold up well, and this rug has not disappointed. The rug is very low pile (thin) and not meant to be soft and plush so, if that is what you are looking for, this would not be the rug for you. Though thin, this rug is dense enough so you don’t see the backing. The pattern and color are beautiful and hide stains/spills. The colors are mainly a sort of teal blue and greige but there are flecks of navy in it as well. I would order this again in a heartbeat for a high-traffic area.. Kelly. Charlotte, NC. Our Traditional Overdyed Retro area rugs use non slip TPE Backing which is perfectly suitable for hardwood floors and different floor rugs laying needs.

I really love this rug. It is a very vibrant shade of dark purple and lilac with very light gray green that matches our lilac walls (not in my photo) perfectly. I have a number of pets who have already attempted to do damage to this rug but have not succeeeded. My only lament is that it doesn’t come in more sizes so I could add more to my house. Do note though that the real size is slightly smaller than the under rug which is Wayfair’s basic under rug so either buy an under rug that is slightly smaller or be prepared to trim it down.. Sarah.
