These are beautiful lights. They were a lot smaller than I expected, but they fit the 12 bathroom. I was replacing some old lights in. They do require a lightbulb that my handyman informed me you should change out without using your fingers. The light fixture does come with a gray circular device that allows you to change out these lightbulbs because if you touch them, they do run the risk of exploding in your hand. We installed this light fixture in a spare bathroom. We purchased it based only on the photo in the ad, never seeing it in person. My husband talked me into it because he liked the brassy, dark look of it and I only agreed to order it because of the hanging crystals. I was delightfully surprised at how lovely it is and I am absolutely recommending it for the classy and quality appearance of it. The faux crystals are not colorful but still quite pretty. If you like the ad picture then you will like it in person a lot more. We chose bulbs that protrude a bit from the bottom, because we like that appearance, but you can install smaller ones that don’t. The fixture arrived well packaged with plenty of protective material, so everything was in perfect condition when it arrived. The finish looked exactly like the photos online, which is always something I worry about when ordering home décor items. There were no scratches, dents, or imperfections, and the glass shades were securely wrapped to prevent any damage during shipping. Installation was straightforward. The instructions were easy enough to follow, and all of the necessary mounting hardware was included. If youve installed a light fixture before, this should be a simple project. Even if youre new to DIY projects, the process is manageable with a little patience. It took less than an hour from start to finish. Once installed, the difference in my bathroom was immediate. The fixture completely transformed the space and made it feel brighter, cleaner, and much more upscale. I installed it over my bathroom sink and vanity, and it provides excellent lighting for everyday tasks like shaving, applying makeup, and getting ready in the morning. The light distribution is even, with no harsh shadows, which was important to me. One thing I really appreciate is the solid construction. The metal frame feels sturdy and well made, not flimsy like some inexpensive fixtures Ive purchased in the past. The glass shades are thicker than I expected and add an elegant touch. Everything feels secure once mounted, and it gives the impression that it will last for years. Another feature I like is how versatile the fixture is. It looks much more expensive than it actually is and could easily work in a guest bathroom, powder room, or even a larger primary bathroom. Ive already received compliments from family members who noticed the update right away and asked where I purchased it. The finish has also been easy to keep clean. A quick wipe with a microfiber cloth removes any dust or fingerprints, and it continues to look brand new after several weeks of use. I appreciate products that not only look great when first installed but are also easy to maintain over time. The only small suggestion I would make is that it would be helpful if the instructions included a few more detailed illustrations for first-time installers. However, this wasnt a major issue, and I was still able to complete the installation without difficulty. Overall, I am extremely happy with this purchase. It combines attractive design, quality materials, easy installation, and excellent lighting performance at a very reasonable price. This thing is SUBSTANTIAL! Even though I saw the dimensions I was still surprised by the impact of this - I love it. For me, it’s a great transition between French industrial, refinedmodern industrial and modern styles. The shades look designer and have a lot of visual interest, but they are also so sturdy that they are a nice juxtaposition of feminine and masculine aesthetic. The crystal ‘knob’ accents above each light give it a touch of glam without going overboard because it really recedes. I love that it has these finishing touches and curves whilst being mounted on an angular modern plate - it’s so much nicer than I expected and I really feel like it looks high quality and a step away from more generic looking vanity lights that are unremarkable in comparison. In my case I have changed my mind on the location for this because it’s a great statement piece - it’s not going in my master and I’m keeping the mirror and vanity very minimalistic so it can shine.
