Pretty chairs, exactly as pictured. Easy to assemble. The chairs are pretty deep so you cant sit back in them comfortably... but I have boys on the verge of being teenagers so no one sits in a chair normally in my house anyhow! If you like to curl up and read, the chairs are perfect for that. I would say that since I like to move furniture around a lot, these are not the best chairs for that. When I pull on the back of the chair to move it, the back starts to come off - its not broken - its just pulling up along the metal slide that it slots into. The armrest is ingeniously designed with a small concave area, allowing you to place your arms more naturally and comfortably. At the same time, with solid wood chair legs and the thoughtful design of silent foot pads, the chair will not cause any damage to the floor when moved.

The back is channel-tufted with inset buttons buried deep within the channels. A tight seat and exterior back make for a clean comfortable seat. The oiled walnut-finished rubberwood legs are capped with solid antique brass sabots on all four legs. The leg detail and shape add that extra level of interest such a beautiful chair requires.
