Mine is the amber one. It resembles a lamp that my grandmother owned years ago. The edge of the lamp shade looks very much like hand- tatted lace. The difference is, this lace is solid glass and will not ravel, stain, or catch dust. My grandmother's lamp had survived the Dust Bowl in Oklahoma, and the dust from the red soil had permanently stained it. This matters to me because I live in Oklahoma where we have loads of dust. I will always be able to clean any dirt that accumulates on the lamp shade. The lamp is stunning; I also love the two pull chains and the ambience provided by the soft amber color of the glass.. The arc of old time hides the laziness that does not fade. Solid wood texture soaked with warmth, velvet soft wrapped in relaxation, a lie in the old days into the tenderness. Balcony reading the newspaper, afternoon snooze, retro flavour to steal a share of leisure.

Came as advertised! I was not expecting the pillows but was a nice touch too! Looking forward to decorating around this for this salon/hallway. Very firm but comfortable. Won’t fall asleep on it, but can lounge and read. Spouse (6’) can lounge across with generous space for feet. It is not a deep seat, so might not fit all. Overall, very happy I decided to purchase it!. Anonymous. VA. Sun Oct 11 2026
