This will take 2-3 people to assemble (3 people for the roof to make it easier). If you are putting this together yourself you and helper or two should be able to get it done in about 6 hours or so. Once correctly assembled it is very sturdy and is exactly what we were looking for a more permanent structure. This replaces an all cloth (with metal frame) gazebo that we had and it looks like it is going to last quite nicely. The mosquito netting on the top is a bit of a joke. It isn't big enough to fit all around the interior roof. By the time you get half of the net up, the other half starts coming off the Velcro. Maybe it will stretch out over time? PRO's: - Very Sturdy once all assembled and mounted down. - Shipped with a lot of foam padding and hard wood ends to protect the roofing from damage. - Minor bends from shipping that could be bent back with pilers. - Cloth curtains and inner bug netting does fit all around (if installed correctly) to fully enclose the gazebo. - Cloth curtains also appear to be made of good quality fabric. - Says it will hold up to 3,000 lbs of snow, and wind gusts up to 55 mph. Where I live it will test this! CON's: - 1 of the 3 boxes is EXTREMELY HEAVY. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The gazebo is a 15x15 but looks smaller than stated or looks compared to other of the same size. It still provides plentiful shade as it should. The metal roof of s very sturdy and ridged making it super easy to keep clean and long lasting. The rails make a good addition in keeping little ones in when trying to enjoy some outside time. Assembly was very easy even when done with one person. My only complaints is that some of the instructions were not very clear, example the way the solar box 🗃️ r remote work. I love this gazebo! It was not easy to put together, it took 4 of us about 7 hours. But I absolutely love it! It's well made and feels like it's going to last a long time. The 4 posts are not solid wood, they feel hollow and if you look close you can see the seams in the wood where they put it together. But I still love it. It shipped in 4 boxes, and you'll definitely need 2 people to move the boxes around. The hooks are nice, I have 2 battery operated pendant lights hanging from them and it looks great! We read the reviews for this gazebo and purchased it despite the naysayers. We got a local quote to assemble it for $3,600. No thanks, we Just finished assembling the gazebo itself. It took a total of 20.5 hours over 5 days, including unboxing, parts inventory, staging and assembly. 16 hours with two people and 4.5 hours with 3 people. overall quality and engineering is pretty good. Only a couple of screw holes required modification (wall anchors). Instructions are not great, but usable if you read them several times and take your time. If you want to DIY this gazebo, make sure you have a couple of good step ladders, a decent cordless drill and 2 or 3 6-foot folding tables for laying out parts and to work on. If you try and assemble this kit with the tools provided, it will take you at least twice as long, maybe longer. Plan on working no more than 4 hours a day...it is tedious and tiring. Also, cooler weather and overcast days are better. We are a 65-year-old couple in decent health. If we can do this, anyone can with proper preparation, tools and patience.... Anonymous. We are very happy with this gazebo. The wood quality is very good, and the finished product looks beautiful and sturdy in our backyard. Assembly was easier than expected. Two people in the family were able to put it together without hiring outside workers. The instructions were clear, and the parts fit together well. I would recommend wearing gloves during assembly to help avoid scratches or small injuries, and having a ladder will definitely make the process easier. One thing I would suggest is adding an extra coat of wood stain or sealer if you want more protection. I did that for mine because I want it to last longer. Even without it, I think the wood feels durable, but if you live in a humid area or want extra long-term protection, adding a wood sealer is a good idea. One of my favorite things is simply sitting inside the gazebo in the early morning or late afternoon. The shade, fresh air, and peaceful atmosphere make it a perfect place to relax and unwind. This is a very nice tent! Not quite as elegant as shown in the photos, but if you spend a lot of time lining up all the seams and securing the velcro ties, you can get pretty close. I got this to bring to eventsgatherings where there will be food served or not enough shade. It’s going to be perfect! I can’t wait to try it with string lights. ) The bag is about 41 lbs, but the long straps make it easy(ish) to pack around. The assembly was tricky, and the instructions were vague (at best). When laying the top over, the instructions do not tell you to loop the open hole through the pop-up arms, but you definitely have to. I decided to “trust the process”, but soon realized that was absolutely necessary. So I ended up breaking it down a bit, making the adjustments and then finished the setup. One more note (complaint) but you really do need a second set of hands to extend the tent, or else it moves in inches. Preferably someone with muscle because clicking the side posts took a lot of core strength I do not have. Also, you need to stake it or a slight wind might knock it over.
