I live in a little ornate Victorian here in Eureka, CA, Zone 9b. So I was surprised to find this wonderful Victorian birdhouse on Wayfair. I'm 78 and arthritic, so I'll have to find a nice young helper to put it up on a tall post, but it will spotlight the historic nature of Old Town and its detailed Victorian architecture. My house and garden will be on Eureka Heritage Society's Annual Home and Garden Tour in June of 2027, and my recent Wayfair purchases will draw folks to the back corner bird sanctuary designed by Wayfair sellers of birdhouses, birdbaths, bird feeders, wind chimes, and weather vanes. Love my new greenhouse! Two engineer friends & I anchored & fully assembled in 7 hours on a concrete pad prepared earlier. Assembly using picture diagrams are sketchy in places, but common sense comes in handy! "Tension/support" cabling is aggravatingly tricky without popping out roof panels, but got got it done as designed, & it's a solid structure. (Extra "buttons" come in handy, using small ty-raps, to secure wiring etc. as needed. I wired lighting & outlets in mine). . Roberta. Summerville, SC. Tue Aug 18 2020
