Why install a surface-mounted toilet paper holder that completely sticks out from the wall when you can have one that sits recessed inside the wall? This classic toilet paper holder does the job and won't go out of style. Now is the perfect time to upgrade. Quick and simple installation using two screws that are provided and screw through two pre-drilled holes in the back. The Wayfair customer support were awesome and delivered a replacement really quickly, however... The replacement was also the stainless black finish. I ended up buying the "Black" finish, and that was, in fact, matte black. The unique recessed toilet paper holders fully recess into the wall with only the frame on the outside, which serves to cover up the rough edges of your wall opening. When you put a new roll on the roller, the roll hangs down about ¾” because the core of the roll is bigger than the roller. That means that it usually drags on the bottom of the holder until you use some. And the holders are 7” high inside – big enough to handle any roll on the market today – even the huge Charmin mega rolls and Costco rolls – with room to spare! Includes white plastic spring-loaded toilet paper roller, and space for a spare roll (not on a roller). Installation could not be easier! Just cut the opening in the drywall and use construction adhesive on the backside of the frame and push it into the wall.

I saw this and thought that it would really be helpful. I live in an apartment and cant remove fixtures, so the original tp holder had to stay put even though it is getting loose from the wall. With this new item, I now have a place for an extra roll of tp plus a place for my phone. I am older, and I use the phone as an emergency alert if I fall or whatever.
