This chandelier is beautiful and truly makes my space look better. But if you are trying to be a better person and quit cussing, or unless you have a mechanical engineering degree or are an electrician with extra time on your hands, do not buy this chandelier. The FULL assembly needed was over the top difficult. Fortunately, my husband has built classic cars and worked with electrical wiring, so we were able to assemble it in a matter of 4 to 5 hours together. The instructions were not complete for all of the stages of assembly. But in the end, we are enjoying it. You should also know that the base of the bulbs is a European size, and no home improvement stores or hardware stores here carry replacement bulbs. Better than I expected! It makes a definite statement. The chandelier has a "full" look - if that makes sense. Many of the pieces are very delicate but everything was packed to perfection. The roses are gorgeous. I had an electrician install the chandelier on a dimmer which I think makes it look even more beautiful. I had extra crystals left over... not sure if they're "extra" or needed to be attached somehow, but the chandelier doesn't look like it's missing any parts. I am thrilled with this purchase. I wanted to give my primary bathroom a glam makeover with the lighting. This chandelier replaced a can light above a soaking tub and it’s beautiful, exactly the look I had hope for. I had a dimmer switch installed for it which is very nice for a soft, sparkly glow.
