Exactly what I was looking for. After going through a number of familiar stores looking for a French quilt and not finding really any. The Chezmoi collection had a few I really liked. The colors are great some vivid some faded. The stitching is neat and beautiful. I bought the King for my Queen bed because I like it to reach closer to the floor. Love my new bed! At first I was a little bit disappointed because it looked muted in my bedroom without a lot of light. Then I purchased a couple throw pillows to bring out the gold and a dark brown for accent pop. Really love this quilt. The colors were a bit darker than I expected with a lot of red but very pretty and great for the price. It is very lightweight which I like but if you are expecting a heavy quilt you may be disappointed. The batting is very thin. I have not washed it but the stitching is very close together which should keep the batting from shifting.
