These curtains look and feel like luxury. They are quite heavy so you can’t get away with not anchoring the curtain rod to the wall (I learned this the hard way). I love this curtain so much. I was looking for something I could hang above a window mounted A/C unit and this was just perfect. You do have to fuss with the bow ties to arrange attractively. The seams are messily sewn, with lots of loose threads. I also think the weight of the curtain "Unties" them after some time. Slightly longer ribbons would have allowed for more hanging height options and a prettier bow tie but even with the challenges its still the best man for the job. I wasnt sure about these when I first opened the packages. The smell was so strong that I had to put them in the wash immediately (watch out for crazy amounts of fuzz from the chenille!). The pattern is also printed on, not embroidered, and I thought it might look tacky. They came out of the wash pretty wrinkled even though I took them out right away, and the instructions say not to iron. And after all that - I really love them! I wish I could give a 4.75 star, but looks wise and quality, color etc. are worth a 5. The tabs on the back are not spaced correctly to hang the way they should at the ends. I simple tucked the ends to make them look right. As long as nobody moves the drape , they'll be fine. But at some point I'm going to do a quick single tuck stitch, to permanently fix the issue. Might not bother others, but my Mother owned her own drapery company when I was growing up, so I know how they SHOULD lay. First pic shows how they hang if you don't fold/tuck it over on itself.
