A raised base adds practical value by allowing easier cleaning and under-bed storage, while handcrafted galvanized nailhead trim completes the design with a subtle, artisanal finish. No box spring is required—simply add your mattress and enjoy a bed that feels as solid as it looks.

The headboard itself meets expectations. Adequate thickness and height for the price. The cream color is a nice neutral light beige. I took off a star for ease of assembly.
