The chair is very pretty and looks perfect in the corner of my bedroom to be used as a reading spot. It was very easy to put together and actually lightweight enough that I could bring it into the house myself. These seem good and comfortable, and the swivel mechanism works well. I found that the box part of the chair was a bit more complicated than I normally experience…a lot of the holes had the threaded canal, but somehow were filled with wood. Also, there was some splintering wood in the chair base, and you had to not screw all the way in for the double-threaded bolts to be able to connect. Anonymous. Raleigh, NC. Fri May 29 2026

Very good for flat-pack furniture. All the parts were packed and marked well. The instructions were clear (although I didn’t match the sides of the ottoman correctly for the lift mechanism and had to redo them—totally my error). I’m a female over 70 and put them together by myself—a bit more than an hour per piece. The “green” color is more greengrayslate than a true green. I searched high and low for a chair for my reading nook and finally landed on this one - and I'm so glad I did. It's just the right size. It was a bit of a bear to put together, but that's true of most online furniture like Wayfair. Took about an hour. The chair did need to puff up for about 2 days to look like this. The ottoman also has storage in it where we put blankets. Really happy with my purchase.. Ali Schwanke. Lincoln, NE. Wed Aug 19 2026
