Easy build, but could be confusing if you aren't paying attention to instructions. Because it can be positioned in either direction, they have not pre-drilled all of the holes. I'm not sure why they were concerned about them showing because they don't attempt to hide any other screw on the table. This is my main issue with the table. It is well built and sturdy and has a lot of storage. But I removed a star because of the vast number of stickers required to hide screw heads. Usually furniture makers will at least attempt to put screws in inconspicuous spaces. This table has all of them very obvious without the stickers. But in my opinion, the vast amount of stickers make the table look cheap. I only removed one star, as many people won't mind. But it made me regret buying the table. I initially attached the some of the parts the wrong way, which i didn’t know until it came to a point where i had to disassemble and redo. I also ended up putting the shelves in upside down. But, never fear… I placed some contact paper on them so you can’t tell. I gave it four stars because the light in the mirror is not very bright. Lots of storage space. I spent a TON of time looking for the perfect makeup vanity for my 12 year old’s birthday…and this is it! Our issue is her slanted ceilings, so we were tight on space. Even though it’s small, it has plenty of storage for all of her products…and she loves the matching bench! The hairdryer hook with the outlet was a must have…and my absolute favorite part is the light. It has cool, medium and warm light choices. And behind it…more storage. It obviously not real wood, but I’m impressed with how sturdy it is, the finish is nice and the drawer pulls look like fancy glass. Overall, it gets the job done, but there are a few features that seem ill-conceived. For example, the power outlet is on top of the desktop. This means if you plug something in, you'll have the cords just cluttering up your desktop. The lights are also stuck directly to the mirror, which you have to manually do with no markings of where to put each bulb so they are symmetrical, and the wires sit on top of the mirror.
