We’ve had this vanity for a year now and my 8 year old daughter uses it daily. It’s easy to clean (which is great when you have a younger child experimenting with make up) and is sturdy. The light on the mirror has multiple settings which is great when applying make up. I often find myself using this vanity when getting ready as I like the lighting better than my bathroom. The size is perfect for a young girl and teenager. It’s decent for an adult as well, but maybe a little small if you have more skin care and make up that you want to store in the vanity. The vanity is just as it appears on the site. Assembly may take about 2.5-3 hours if done alone, but otherwise instructions are clear. The overall piece is lovely, but I will say to be mindful when using a drill. The material peels quite easily. The chair may be too low if you have a short torso, so be prepared not to see a your full upper body in the mirror while seated. This is very much a “you get what you pay for” purchase. It’s cheap and it shows from the moment you unbox it. Some of the hardware was bent and damaged. Boards that start to split if you come close to over torquing the screws. We got it together and it fits the bill for what my child wanted in her room — a place to do nails and hair and organize supplies.
