(UPDATE) I finally got my vanity area done. In general, I love the mirror, BUT, I would have preferred to have it mounted to the wall. The instructions seem to indicate that there should have been a bar on the back of the mirror for the J hooks to attach to, but the back of my mirror was perfectly smooth, so there was nothing for the J hooks to hold. In other words, if you plan on hanging this mirror, when you receive it, open it immediately and verify the hanging hardware is included. Also, keep in mind this mirror is very heavy, so definitely make sure it has excellent support (attached to wall stud). Works for me, but cautiously recommended to someone who wants it wall mounted. But the side drawers are actually only one deep drawer instead of 2 so that there’s only a total of 3 drawers.That information would have been helpful in the description! We’ve had this vanity for a year now and my 8 year old daughter uses it daily. It’s easy to clean (which is great when you have a younger child experimenting with make up) and is sturdy. The light on the mirror has multiple settings which is great when applying make up. I often find myself using this vanity when getting ready as I like the lighting better than my bathroom. The padded seat was worse the second time, but I’ll just reupholster it myself instead of requesting a 3rd one. It would be best if the company would figure out a new way to ship the seat so that it doesn’t get pinchedmishapen. The tiny screws were a bear to screw into the wood. Small, predrilled holes would have been a great touch. Overall, the vanity looks nice assembled and my daughter likes it, but certainly some room for improvement with shipping and ease of assembly.. It’s beautiful and feels really sturdy. Great quality wood. It was somewhat difficult to put together myself took about 2-3 hours needed help to get the drawer to snap into place flush. Light isn’t super bright, drawer is very shallow there’s definitely a few manufacturers flaws but I’m over all very happy with how it looks and feels just not as much storage as I anticipated.. This is the absolute best vanity ever!! I love everything about it. I get so many compliments on how it looks and how spacious it is. Buying this has made me want to get up early just to get ready with it. It took about 8 hours to build which we did within 2 days and it’s very true to size, quite big.
