Would have given 5 stars if the stool weren't absolutely useless:( The good: -Very pretty and cute piece, looks better in person than the photos actually. The drawers function well and my daughter loves the vanity light feature. Took about 4 hours to build since there are SO many pieces. The not-so-good: -The stool is outright dangerous. Totally unuseable. I literally have to throw it in the garbage because I won't even give this to someone out of fear of them falling off. Terrible design- the legs are too close together and the leg bases are not stable, so they wobble. My 6 year-old daughter almost fell the moment she tried to sit on this stool. -The mirror's lighting feature had a very large and obvious defect, ever since first activating the light. Still useable but the bottom right area doesn't light up with the rest of the mirror light. However, I was impressed with how Wayfair handled the issue- I submitted the report of defect including photos, and within 2 days the manufacturer reached out to me through Wayfair and will be sending a new mirror part so hoping that one will be in good shape.. Nice addition and very functional… spacious drawers and a cabinet with shelves. In hindsight I would have chosen a different vanity. I allowed the “original price” to make me think this was a superior quality vanity. However, I might choose it again for one of my granddaughter’s. Great product and very sturdy for the price. Took about 5hrs to put together but I’m no handy man. 1hr of it was trying to figure out the dang cabinet hinges and then I realized I didn’t see the explanation of how the screws in the actual hinge can help adjust the hinge placement for a good fit and open/close. The one true issue I stumbled on during assembly was that none of the drawer handles lined up with the pilot holes. All seemed about a centimeter too low for the equipment to reach. I like it! For reference I am 5’2 and it’s a good size for me in my room I have a lot of things I’m going to fill it with and my stool is very wide so eventually I will probably opt for a less wide chair. Beautiful vanity!!! 2 NEGATIVES: 1. the lights on the mirror aren’t very strong. Luckily where I moved it to has great natural light. 2. There are two cords for this vanity. One for the actual vanity and one for the mirror. I don’t feel like the photos accurately showed how the cord to the mirror looked. It is very visible and I feel like it should have had a slot to put the cord through the vanity. Maybe they did this so if you don’t want to use the mirror you could convert it to a desk or something but I had to wrap the cord for it to look better and prevent my cat from chewing. I didn’t lower my rating because this is One of my favorite purchases I’ve ever made. It really elevates the room. I love putting on my makeup at it. Was worried about the color being too brown with my black furniture and it isn’t. It also came almost completely assembled which was shocking. Unboxing took 3 times longer than putting it together. The vanity is very very beautiful just as I suspected. It is solid wood. It came with the drawers already put together. The only thing you had to do was screw the legs onto it. The screws were already in the legs so all you had to do was twist them on. This was a very fine piece of work and will last a very long time as long as you take care of it.
