Koert's new valve design has no cap. Other bags rely upon a cap to be tightly sealed to keep air out but air can still seep through the cap causing the bag to deflate over time. Koert's new technology in our no-cap valve created an airtight harrier keeping items condensed for the long haul. If you do not have a vacuum handy you can compress bags by simply hand-rolling the bag to remove excess air. Increase storage space in your suitcase, luggage, or closet.

I love these vacuums bag, very easy to use The seal tab is large easy to grab and seal with the first pass even with my arthritis thumb. I didn't need help sealing them closed. Not having to put a cap on and off make these my favorite vacuum bags, I just press the vacuum hose on the valve and that was it. My thumbs are happy. The only downside It didn't work with my vacuum that didn't have a round hose, I had to use my vacuum with the round hose.
