I’m converting from an upright to a canister vacuum, so I’ve had to change my technique in how I vacuum the house. Instead of starting at one end of the room and then stepping backward to make the next path as I’ve always done with an upright, that way just doesn’t work for a few reasons, but to keep this brief, instead I now pick a section of the room to start (my rooms are small to average in size at only 1100 sq feet total), so it’s usually towards the center of the room where I position the canister vacuum and begin a starburst pattern. I keep the canister vacuum relatively in the same spot, until I am ready to begin in another section. This way there is less moving of the canister vacuum. Now the hose and handle are quite long when combined on the Kenmore canister vacuum, not to mention sturdy, so I only reposition 2 or 3 times in my smaller-size rooms, and I’m done in that room. Pros are, it gets under furniture much easier than an upright, hands down, and it is quieter. A bonus of this machine is you can control the suction, and therefore that is done with changing the speed of the motor, so if you can do light cleaning at a lower suction and not feel like your waking the entire house., The noise level drops dramatically. For me, this alone seals the deal on this cleaning machine. I also liked that all the tools are stored on the body of the vacuum and covered, so they’re not getting knocked off, and I’m not having to constantly run to the closet to dig through a bag of parts looking for the right attachment. All full size vacuums should follow Kenmore ways of thinking and designing vacuum cleaners in my opinion. Even though I found my work around in my style of vacuuming, it is a bit more difficult to carry around, a bit bulky, but I am not at all regretting my purchase of a canister vac, and I highly recommend the option pop and go bagged canister vacuum by Kenmore. I think it does just as good, if not better, of a job than vacuums two or three times higher in price. It’s built sturdy, which makes it a little heavier, but I expect it to last for many, many years. I suggest you give this vacuum a test yourself and see if you agree. Oh I almost forgot, one last thing I think you should know, it seems to pick up dog hair on hard surfaces better than upright models that I’ve vacuumed with in the past.. Thomas. Palm Springs, CA. The Miele Blizzard CX1 Bagless Canister Vacuum Cleaner is an excellent choice for homes with hard floors and very low pile carpeting. Powered by a German engineered, Miele made 1200 W motor, it delivers strong suction, while Vortex technology generates airflow exceeding 62 mph to effectively separate fine and coarse dust into separate chambers for cleaner, more hygienic emptying. The Blizzard CX1 features two maintenance free filters: a Hygiene Lifetime Filter that captures over 99.98% of fine dust, and a Gore® CleanStream® fine dust filter that cleans itself automatically or at the press of a button. For versatile floor cleaning, the AllTeQ Universal Floorhead lets you transition between hard flooring and thin carpets or area rugs using a convenient footswitch. A Parquet Twister floor brush is also included for gentle, thorough cleaning of delicate hard floors. Because it does not include a motorized brush roll, this model is best suited for homes with mostly hard flooring. Despite its powerful performance, the vacuum operates ultra quietly and offers a range of user-friendly features: an adjustable telescopic wand, one touch automatic cord rewind, a 32 ft operating radius, an integrated dusting brush in the handle, and onboard upholstery and crevice tools. Overall, the Blizzard CX1 Pure Suction is a strong option for those seeking powerful, bagless performance without sacrificing convenience or high-quality filtration.

BISSELL CleanView Max Lift-Off vacuum is designed to tackle even the furriest messes with unbeatable suction vs Shark Navigator Lift-Away Deluxe

So far, this upright "LiftOff" vacuum is working great. Pretty powerful from the start. Picked up a lot of what my older Bissell left behind. As an upright, cleaning just became easier for me. The smaller footprint makes controlling it so much better. Lifting the container off to clean stairs is perfect. Love that it can be used to vacuum both my staircases. No more full upright vac to get in the way of cleaning a small area. Very easy to assemble, too. Cord is longer than my older Bissell and that is a plus. Only disappointment, if any, is the extra attachments... they could be so much better... but at least this new vacuum works well with the older attachments. All and all, this vacuum is doing an excellent job at cleaning. Hope it lasts for many more years.. Lisa. Clinton Township, MI. Thu Sep 17 2026

This vacuum is perfect for my little place. It’s just a smaller version than the larger one that my daughter has. But the suction on this vacuum is outstanding! I read some of the other reviews who said it didn’t have much suction power but this one sucked up a lot of dog hair. I haven’t had a vacuum in a week and I have a golden retriever. You can see in the photo how much hair it sucked off my rug on the the floor and from the couch! I love this little vacuum!! it also has a really long cord, which is great. I don’t have to keep unplugging and plugging in somewhere else. It has several attachments that are helpful too. I also read where someone said when they vacuumed dust came out from the back. I didn’t have that problem at all and I’ve only got the one rug in my living room, which is a small space rug and then I have the hardwood floors, there was no dust coming out of this vacuum cleaner. This is an excellent vacuum cleaner if you have a small space or just want a light weight vacuum. You won’t regret buying this!. Sjp. TN. Tue Apr 28 2026
