I’m a female and was able to build it by myself. Split building into two evenings and took about 7 hours total (I was going slowly and making sure each step was done correctly). Instructions were clear, holes aligned well, and everything came together nicely! The most building I’ve done for a piece of furniture but totally worth it! We’ve had this vanity for a year now and my 8 year old daughter uses it daily. It’s easy to clean (which is great when you have a younger child experimenting with make up) and is sturdy. The light on the mirror has multiple settings which is great when applying make up. I often find myself using this vanity when getting ready as I like the lighting better than my bathroom. The size is perfect for a young girl and teenager. It’s decent for an adult as well, but maybe a little small if you have more skin care and make up that you want to store in the vanity.
