The material has a somewhat inexpensive feel and also tends to trap heat, which I do not like. However, it has washed very well, which was extremely important to me, and for the price it works perfectly well in my guest room. It is comfortable enough and does the job as an everyday duvet cover set. Love my king sized duvet in linen. It is really soft and cozy. My first duvet so it was a learning curve putting the comforter inside.
