Quality was good. Easy to assemble. However there were several things wrong in the instructions. Further more, there were 2 holes that were supposed to be drilled at the factory that were not. Love the bed, sturdy and seems to be constructed well. I added the assembly and the two guys that showed up were very polite and courteous. They also got the job done in 2 hours. My only issue is when the guys (hired through Handyman) were putting it together some of the wood frame pieces were taped together. It was SUPER easy to put together. It had the same screws basically for everything, so it was hard to mess up. It does come in a lot of pieces, however, the slats will come in the smaller box that gets delivered which is nice. It took me about 1.5 hours with help. The tracking of the shipment was also super convenient and accurate. I was thrown off with the staircase handrail, it’s not very kid friendly to hold onto because it’s low. We were initially going o to purchase 2 twin beds to fit into our 2nd bedroom, but happened upon this bunk bed. I have never made a big furniture purchase from Wayfair, so I was a bit leery about buying something I hadn't seen in person. What a great buy! The wood was solidly made, and the color was flawless. My husband could not stop commenting on the quality of the wood, and how well organized the parts and directions were. It took a couple of hours to put everything together, but it truly was a great purchase. The slats were included, so all we needed to add were the mattresses.
