The cabinet arrived in great condition. Instructions were easy to follow and all hardware is included. The hinges are heavy and good quality. The handles are light, but they are metal. It is made of an MDF type of material covered with a sort of slick and shiny veneer. We are using it for storage in our mechanical room. It’s great for that and would be great for garage storage too. These are really nice cabinets, and they appear to be solidly built. As other reviewers have noted, the assembly instructions are not helpful, and none of the holes were pre-drilled. I am usually pretty good at putting furniture together, but this time I got a handyman to put these together. The hardware for putting the cabinets together is included, but there is no mounting hardware. The cabinets arrived pretty well packaged, but one of the panels had a slight dent in it from pressure from the hardware package. It doesn’t show now that the cabinets are assembled and on the wall, so it wasn’t a problem. Despite these drawbacks, I’m satisfied with the product. I looked at a number of alternative products, and these seem to be the best of the affordable off-the-shelf options. We painted them, and they took the primer and paint smoothly and nicely.. Joan. Maximize pantry cabinet space with a pantry swingout. Nice cabinet with a lift up door. Reducing a star for structural reasons. Fewer cam locks than expected so the seems do not pull together as tight as you would like between the vertical and horizontal pieces. I drilled some additional cabinet screws in from the bottom and top to help stabilize it. Downside of that is the particle board isn't very strong either and it broke out the side despite using small screws. Would recommend predrilling anywhere that you plan to add screws since it's pretty weak. Overall its the size and style I wanted for this particular scenario so I'm keeping it but don't expect a flawless piece here. Esthetics are nice.
