This is the 3rd headboard purchased from Wayfair. Purchased 3 different headboards but all have been great. Sturdy, nicely made, met my expectations and easy to assemble. My only issue with this Clouchete Nadine is I didn't realize how copper colored the nailheads were. They don't describe the color in the description and when I zoomed in I thought they looked more burnished bronze. In person they are definitely copper like a penny. I absolutely love this bed! I was a little nervous ordering something like this online because cream and wood tones can look so different in person, but the colors are honestly perfection. The bouclé is the perfect creamy white. It’s not stark white but it also doesn’t pull yellow or beige. It’s just a really beautiful soft cream that looks so much more expensive in person. The wood was another thing I was really hoping would look like the photos and it does. It has that slightly grayish white oak tone that I love without looking washed out or overly gray. The combination of the cream upholstery and lighter wood is gorgeous. Assembly was also surprisingly easy. The instructions were clear and everything went together without any confusion or issues. Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. This boucle bed is very cute. It looks just like the pictures advertised. The bed feels sturdy and was EXTREMELY easyquick to put together— it maybe took me a little over an hour simply because of the amount of screws you have to install. The color of the boucle is a fabulous off white, and the feet are a complementary darker wood with gold caps. The boucle material is soft, doesn’t look or feel cheap, and is easy to clean with a quick vacuumlint rollspot clean. Logistics-wise, it came in one tall, skinny box that was heavier than I could carry by myself. It wasn’t impossible to shimmy it inside alone, but it’d definitely be safer moving with two people given the size. The ONLY negative about this piece is the height of the headboard. This bed is GORGEOUS in person. I wanted an upholstered bed, and i initially ordered anothe bed from anothe company, but was so disappointed after seeing it in person. Online photos make beds in the 200 range appear just like the beds in the 1000 range, but there is a huge difference when you see them in person. The fabric is textured and very high end. The bed fabric feels really luxurious. I also love the higher headboard which makes the bed feel like a 5-star hotel. Beautiful fabric, nice wood feet, and pretty solid construction.
