They don't describe the color in the description and when I zoomed in I thought they looked more burnished bronze. In person they are definitely copper like a penny. Love the look of this bed. Took a chance bc there were no reviews. The bed delivered in about 5 days. The packing wasn’t the best, but everything was intact and undamaged inside the box. Quality is fair, not exceptional. Upholstery is only on the outside of the bed, not behind the headboard, footboard or rails. Bed is assembled with bolts that are visible on the footboard which I don’t like. The fabric is linen and on the lighter side, not yellowish or grey. Hammered features are a nice contrast to the conventional upholstered bed design. Bed can be mixed with contemporary furniture or antiquish, like I have. All in all, I’d recommend. This headboard is very nice and looks expensive. It makes the room look great. The fabric is nice and soft. The color is great and as described. The only issue is the way to mount it was not easy and we ended up just having to press it up against the wall and use dry wall screws. It would not fit into our king size tempurperic bed frame. We have not had issues before with previous headboards so this was annoying. It ended up working out the way we did it but still frustrating. I do appreciate that it’s wood though and not metal. Lots of issues during shipment. Some help from customer service, but my assembly service was canceled so I had to hire someone to assemble. Item was protected by inside wrapping. Outside box did not hold up well to so many trips off and on trucks 3 times over the whole continent. Assembly instructions did not match this item and holes drilled did not match up correctly.
