These seem good and comfortable, and the swivel mechanism works well. I found that the box part of the chair was a bit more complicated than I normally experience…a lot of the holes had the threaded canal, but somehow were filled with wood. I could not be more impressed with a set of chairs for this price! They easily look and feel like they cost double. They are extremely well made, easy to put together, and the slip covers fit like a GLOVE! I love the slip cover look and skirting! They made my house look instantly more comfy. Some people said the seat was firm, I definitely don’t think it’s too firm. I think it’s just the right feel to be able to sit and not feel like you’re sinking when you’re having a conversation with someone. If the back will show in your room, be prepared to add some upholster pins, as the back “flap” does not secure well. It says Velcro, but it is not Velcro nor is it adhering. Very nice and solid structured chairs. The back could be slightly taller as chair barely hits 36” high. As accent chais they is perfect for us. Excellent fabric and smooth texture. If the back will show in your room, be prepared to add some upholster pins, as the back “flap” does not secure well. It says Velcro, but it is not Velcro nor is it adhering.
