Well I wanted a solid wood bed and that was hard to find. I was happy to find one at Wayfair. It took two of us to put it together ( in our 60’s) but it was not difficult at all. Beautiful bed! We ordered the queen size Ivory Canvas material and couldn't be happier. We vacillated a lot of what fabric to choose (canvas vs. boucle, ivory vs. cream). The boucle seemed too "fuzzy" and we didn't want a canvas material that felt "waxy" or like a canvas sneaker. The material on THIS bed is wonderful! Sturdy bedframe that arrives in a heavy box that was relatively easy to put together. With 2 people and a drill it went by in about an hour. I like the height of the bed and how it allows for some underneath storage if needed. I do wish the USB ports were on both sides of the headboard, but otherwise no complaints.. Maddie.
