You pull out the bottom front and you basically have a two or even three small people chaise to put your feet if. When you want it for a bed, just lay down the back piece. This is so good when the grands or company stay over. I wish I could take better pictures but this is a super small room but if you want a very nice looking sofabed, a firm seat, and beautiful atheistic, I think you should get it.
