I wired the lights into my existing low voltage patio lights for convenience as it comes with separate cords for the pump and lights. I was also worried about the low price and quality. I am very impressed with this. First, it is heavy - the stated specs are 22.7 lbs and it is closer to 45lbs. That means it is sturdy and robust. The pump and light are easy to assemble. This took me more time to unbox than it did to set up. It was packaged in a large box with ample hard foam padding all four sides. The sound of the water is loud enough to hear over a noise AC unit but not so loud that it is distracting. Set up was fine . Please note that you can just plug into an electrical outlet . You do not need to “hard wire it” as the description says. It is easy. However, the unit has a defect! The fake copper lip that the water falls from is NOT LEVEL ! Therefore the waterfall will never be like the picture in a nice V fall. Set up a little while ago layers snap but don’t seem very tight. Its much louder streaming than I thought, tried adjusting pump but haven’t gotten it to sound smoother trickling. The top bubbler is very wobbly. All in all the fountain looks nice just need to tweak the pump I guess. Not very easy to adjust the pump sine it’s enclosed.
