Rustic Off-White

This solid wood chest will give your room a warm and rustic look. This design features five, spacious 5” deep drawers. Made of 100% solid wood from renewable forests, this chest will last for many years and has minimal impact on the environment. The finish is designed to accentuate the unique grain, knots, and natural textures in the wood panels; and each piece is sanded and distressed by the hand, leading to variations in the color and texture that make every unit unique. This distressed finish is very durable and easy to touch up.

We were looking for something with more of a vertical footprint to make space in our bedroom and this was just right, size-wise. It looks great too, and it's nice to have real wood. Assembly took quite a bit of time, especially since there weren't predrilled holes for a lot of the screws, but it all came together. As others noted, it's good to be aware that the back panel is unfinished, so this dresser must be set up against a wall (which is necessary for safety anyway, with a secure fastener included). I wish the drawers had a slightly smoother or controlled glide, and plan to add some felt to quiet the closure. Overall, a solid buy and great for our space!. Anonymous. Whittier, CA. This is real wood. It has a light stain and no varnish, so it has that rustic farmhouse feel to it. The drawers don’t have tracks so they wobble when you pull them in and out, but I don’t plan to use them much. Perfect size for behind my couch. The assembly was a bit tricky. They provide self-tapping screws so there are no pilot holes. That means you have to line the pieces up perfectly while screwing in teh screw. Sometimes there is also a dowel in a predrilled hole making it easy to keep the wood in place while you get the screw in. Other times - esp the drawers - you have to hold the two pieces of wood carefully while you press hard to get the screw started. Also, some sections of the wood are softer and easy to get a screw through. Others are a bit harder. Other than assembly, I have no complaints. It’s a sturdy little table for the price.. Rachel. It’s beautiful, actual wood. I would have given it 5 stars but the back of one of the drawers is missing and the piece that goes in between the two back panels is missing. Honestly, I’m pleasantly surprised with the quality of this. I took a chance on a deal for an “Open Box” item that was labeled and pictured as ivory with wood countertop, but it’s actually a light grey. I tried to capture the colors exactly as I see them in person. The wood color is a bit warm. I’m not mad about it because it looks great. I changed the knobs to brass ones and it made it look 10x more expensive in my opinion. There was some chips on one of the wood boards that goes inside so therefore it detached, but Wayfair was helpful. My husband built it in 1.5 hours. I really like that this real wood. That was the selling point for my purchase. No MDF or particle board. It’s not solid oak or anything like that, but it is indeed real wood. What I think could be improved is labeling the pieces for assembly. Even little stickers would help. I understand I’m not building a rocket ship, but trying to figure out which side is which would be helpful. What I didn’t like. When I tapped down the top of the bookcase I had to use a little force. One of the dowels popped right through the top and left a good-sized hole. Overall, it’s the least expensive real wood bookshelf I could find in my price range. Love the buffet! It was a little time consuming to put together but worth it. The instructions were easy and on point. I searched for a while but this fits my needs exactly. And it compliments my grandmothers hutch. I ordered a piece of heat resistant stone to place on the top so I can serve hot items without worrying about damaging the wood.
