Replaced a set of typical folding doors in my smaller sized Laundry Rm and one to the Furnace Rm at the end of a short hallway. In both cases, the Mirrored Doors definitely expandlengthen their spaces!! I was too anxious to get them up and so will Stain and Clear Coat now, after installation [time will tell if that waswasn’t wise]. I really wanted a lighter natural colored wood (maple or pine) and these were just perfect. WisH LisT 1) the Sticker Labels removed neatly so that while having to leave the Glass Film Coat intact until the trim is treated they wouldn’t look Sooo awful [I’ve also read the Film Coating is a nightmare to remove], 2) there wasn’t such a large space between the Doors when closed, 3) the Back was Finished in some fashion (even if the price was higher) OR at least a photo of the foam backing was shown up front prior to purchase. I installed two of these doors in a recent bathroom remodel and am very happy with them. They look great and were fairly easy to build. One piece on one of the doors required light sanding to make it fit with into the pre-cut holes but otherwise no issues. Two notes: 1. There is a strong odor at unboxing. I recommend building these outside, if possible, and definitely leaving outside for a few days to off-gas before installing on an interior project. I left them on my balcony. 2. The doors were extremely well packaged is such a way as to NOT add a lot of bulk but to protect the doors from the normal shipping damage that can occur. Wood blocking all around to protect edges, extra pad on corners, two layers of foam in front and back (already removed in the picture). High quality doors (as expected).
