A compact, clean-lined buffet that blends classic Shaker styling with everyday storage. We purchased three oak cabinets to make a buffet. All came in perfect shape due to excellent packaging. Instructions are easy to follow pictures, but we found that putting hinges on panels 2 and 3, right from the start made it easier to put doors on at the end, since it’s hard to screw on when everything is put together. The trick at the end is to make sure the hinges are in closed position then place door holes over hinge, as if the door was completely closed. Then slowly open the door and the hinge will be in correct position to screw the remaining screws on door backside. Also double check that panel 5 is in correct position with locking mechanism near panel 4, otherwise you will have the holes of the mechanism on the top side of the shelf when finished and will have to use oak stickers to cover up the silver hardware. I purchased two of these cabinets and was pleasantly surprised by how easy they were to assemble. I put both together myself without any issues, and the instructions were straightforward. Once assembled, they looked great and fit perfectly in my space. The drawers and doors open and close smoothly, and everything functions exactly as it should. The quality is good—not necessarily high-end—but for the price I paid, I think they offer excellent value. Solid, good finish to the wood, looks great, but the instructions are terrible. Instructions are pictures only, and it's not clear what they are trying to indicate. The videos I found for this exact product are for different style of attachment, so not helpful. I have put together many of these types of furniture.
