IMO, great chairs! The package and all parts arrived undamaged, parts are well organized in the box with clear labeling, instruction manual is well written with clear/simple drawings, the chair color (light walnut) looks good as advertised, and the chair assembly is painless. First, the included wrench is marginal. IMO, start your chair assembly with a standard wrench - it'll make for a more pleasant experience. Second, I would pre-drill all the screw hole ends to eliminate wood cracking, specifically the seat back (see photo). Use a 3/32" drill bit or smaller on hole ends to prevent wood cracking. I had been looking for a few new Adirondack chairs to put around my chiminea and decided to give these a try. They arrived quickly and were very easy to put together thanks to the clear instructions. What I like most is that they fold up for storage, which is a huge plus compared to some of my older chairs. The material feels sturdy and is higher quality than I expected. They are comfortable to sit in for long periods of time while relaxing by the fire or enjoying a summer evening in the yard. My kids love them so much that they are constantly arguing over who gets to use them. I may end up ordering a few more just to keep everyone happy. These are nice chairs, look good and are sturdy. If you plan to keep them in the shade or in a covered porch or patio then you should be fine. It can take a little water and sun exposure from time to time, but as long as its not exposed to the elements 24/7, it should be fine. We planned to keep this out in the yard and made the mistake of choosing these wooden chairs instead of HDPE. We live in Florida, and get extreme sun and also very heavy and frequent rain. Beautiful chairs that were very easy to assemble. The only challenge we had was with the pre-drilled holes for the cup holder bracket. They were a little too close to the edge and cracked the wood when the screws were inserted. Easy fix: just drilled my own holes more towards the center of the base.
