I looked at many full bed/twin trundle beds and decided on this bed after reading many reviews and other sites with same style. This one is sturdy and not hard to put together. Unfortunately our twin mattress is an XL twin and was too large to put together the trundle. We just put the bed frame over the mattress on the floor and it works for us. It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed. It was such a savings to put it together myself then to purchase one in a furniture store. I purchased the grey version which is a soft hazy color.. Melissa. Hubbardston, MA. Wed Jun 17 2026

The first time I sat on it (I weigh 125 soaking wet), a screw came out of the rail that the slats sit on top of. This is a screw that was put in by the manufacturer. Also, various imperfections in the wood that you wouldn’t see once it’s assembled, but disappointing to have in a brand new purchase.. Missing_kellyjones743gmail.co. Tue Sep 08 2026
