I’ve already had to contact them to troubleshoot the heat settings, and they were incredibly responsive and helpful, which is especially important when making a large purchase. The only thing I would change is the placement of the power cord; I wish it were located on the bottom of the unit rather than the side. Also, while there appear to be three vents on the unit, the heat only comes from the center vent, but it's robust. I also chose to purchase the extended warranty for added peace of mind. I ordered the 50in linear electric fireplace for my bedroom and I love it. This is the second electric fireplace I have gotten and the other one I got was by a different brand and while I really like it, I like this one even more for its very subtle controls. I had to really zoom in so you can see them. From standing height you cannot see the switch and you cannot see the blacked out controls on the face of the fireplace. Ordered a 72” electric fireplace - box delivered said 70” no where could I find the brand name manufacturer as the one I ordered. I had a carpenter scheduled to install so I did not call wayfair to find out if this was a switch that needed to be replaced. Having never ordered from Wayfair before, I was a bit hesitant, especially since I was ordering an open box. The price was too good to pass up. I bit the bullet and took a chance. I worried unnecessarily though. It was a great experience. Good communication, quick shipping and was delivered earlier than expected. Item works perfectly.
