A play mat is a great place for babies to spend time on their tummy. It is recommended that they start having short tummy time sessions from a day or two after they are born. Each session should be between three and five minutes. As time went by, tummy time remained important for babies' early development. A flat, soft foam play mat can make babies more comfortable when they are lying on their belly and can help them to spend more quality time on their tummy. Our play mat is filled with high-quality foam that is 1.2 inches thick. The thickness and softness provide enough protection against accidental bumps and knocks. At the same time, it offers adequate support without hindering babies' normal development of motor skills. The foam filling is CertiPUR-US® certified, means that the foam has been rigorously tested and verified to be free of harmful chemicals, heavy metals, and formaldehyde. The foam has low VOC emissions that will not affect indoor air quality. As your little one grows, this foam play mat will be there for them every step of the way as they learn to crawl and walk. The 71-inch x 59-inch rectangle baby mat for floor provides ample space for toddlers to explore and play in safety. Its sleek, modern appearance and natural beige tone are sure to fit right in with any home decor. Not just a play mat, you can also use it as a living room mat, bedroom mat, it can fit right into the room and offer extra softness. Lay it in a play room, you can put on any play gym or toys of your choice to create a customized playground just for your baby. The cover of our baby mat is made of a premium vegan leather. It’s soft to touch and hypoallergenic, free from harmful chemicals like PVC, phthalates, or toxins, offer a safe surface to babies to play. Worried about babies' messes? The cover is waterproof and scracht resistant, can withstand any liquid accidents, just wipe clean and it will be good as new.

Right out of the box it looks like a promising play at! I thought it would be a little thicker and maybe a little sturdierfirm but hoping once it has had more time to expand that will be the case I like that it’s vegan leather. It’s soft and will definitely be easy to clean.. Rachel. Riverside, RI. Sun Jul 12 2026

The La Pure Mat also features ultra-high-density cushioning for improved shock absorption, providing a soft space for little ones to play and explore. This play mat is ideal for learning to sit or stand, crawl and walk.

I really love this play mat so far. It’s so squishy but not too squishy to be safe and has some grip that I think will make leaning to crawl etc easier for our baby. I love that I can wipe it clean and he’s not directly in the floor as well. The print is also adorable. I can already imagine him playing with his cars on the road print when he gets older. And for times when I want it just to blend with decor, the back is a nice beige patterned to look like fabric. Really happy with this so far.. Amber. OK. Fri Mar 21 2025

I am thrilled with this mat. I have granddaughters that do tumbling and I’m always scared when they do it for fear of getting hurt. It came condensed and tightly wrapped. After taking out of the plastic it expanded pretty quickly. It states it should take about three days to fully expand but I was pleased at the short time it took to thicken up. After three days I may upload another picture. The back side looks like it should stay in place and I’m not concerned about the fold marks. I can see already they are less noticeable.. Elizabeth. US.
